Enjoy a free walking tour in Buffalo Bayou Park highlighting the landscape and ecology of 19th century Texas that created Houston, as well as the importance of prairies in rebuilding this astonishing and all but vanished ecosystem.
Get the most out of your visit with a one-hour garden tour led by one of our knowledgeable volunteer docents.
Docent tours require purchase of a general admission ticket ($15/adult, $10/child)Â + the tour fee ($3/adult, $1/child).
Maximum capacity of 9Â per tour, not including the docent guide, so spots on a tour must be purchased/reserved in advance. And tours are offered rain or shine.
