Join Climatetech Summit for the first-ever Greentown Labs Climatetech Summit on Nov. 5 and 6 for a deep dive into scaling climate action!
During these two days, you’ll engage across what we see as the pillars of climate action—technology, finance, policy, and justice—discover groundbreaking startups and their climatetech solutions, learn from industry experts, and forge the connections you need in order to take meaningful action on climate.Â
This collaborative, virtual summit will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, policymakers, startup support organizations, and other climate champions to chart a holistic approach to building a sustainable future for all.

Texas Tech University will host a virtual 1.5 day seminar that will meet the requirement for becoming a part of the OLE! Texas Design Network. Those who complete this training will no longer need to complete the NLI course.

Fee: There is no fee associated with this workshop, however, we are asking all participants to support the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Texas Association for the Education of Young Children with a $20 donation towards their 2021 Healthy Beginnings Conference. The conference theme is “Taking Learning Outdoors” and donations will support conference scholarships for local early care and education professionals. Donations can be made via their PayPal Account. Â
Participation Requirements:Â Participants must attend the full workshop in order to be added to the list of OLE! Texas certified designers. This evens is ONLY for Landscape Architects & Designers who are willing to support early care and education programs in the Harris County area.

Join Bayou Land Conservancy on Friday, November 13, 2020, for our Annual Land Lover Gala Home on the Range (your range!) This year’s event will be held virtually and bring just as much joy and excitement as ever. Get Wild About Texas this year with keynote speaker Ben Masters, Texas Wildlife Filmmaker. Ben will take us through a journey about his latest film Deep in the Heart.
Deep in the Heart will be the first blue-chip wildlife documentary ever produced about our beloved Texas. The film will celebrate many conservation success stories while showcasing some of the most important ecological issues through the eyes of wildlife and wild places. Imagine Planet Earth…but in Texas! Through witty narration, humor, and state-of-the-art cinematography, the film will showcase approximately twenty wildlife species ranging from the iconic bison to the mysterious ocelot. The feature-length film will begin in the high plains and peaks of West Texas, flow through diverse ecoregions along our many river systems, and conclude along the bays, estuaries, and the Gulf of Mexico. Deep in the Heart aims to inspire Texans to conserve our remaining wild places, to show the connectivity of water and wildlife, and to recognize Texas’ conservation importance on a continental scale.
Join Levy Park for their Prelude Concert Series!. This 45-minute music experience is geared toward babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grownups who love them! Prelude Music Classes for Children’s curriculum nurtures creativity, self-expression, and development through a variety of musical styles arranged and pitched for `6children.
