TMN Tuesdays @ Webinar
Apr 13 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

All events for #TMNTuesdaysOn the Second Tuesday of each month at the noon hour (12 PM Central Standard Time), the TMN State Office will offer an hour-long virtual advanced training event (sometimes including some fantastic new and returning guest speakers).

One of the great things about TMN Tuesdays is the fact that they count for AT, even if you view them after the fact. So, if you didn’t get to see them the first time around, there’s still time to view them and have them count for AT!

Lights Out Texas! @ Within Our Homes and Neighborhood
Apr 19 @ 6:00 pm – May 6 @ 6:00 am

Every spring and fall, billions of birds migrate through the US, mostly under the cover of darkness. This mass movement of birds must contend with a dramatically increasing but still largely unrecognized threat: light pollution.

What BirdCast needs you to do:

  • Join BirdCast by committing to turn lights off from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. during critical migration periods.
  • Talk with friends, businesses, elected officials, schools, and other stakeholders and get them to join the movement, too!
  • Share your support for the cause via social media and with local media.
