The Conservation Summit is a unique annual gathering hosted by Texan by Nature that focuses on bringing conservation and business leaders together for rich, impact-focused dialogue and networking.
The Summit’s carefully selected panelists, representing both industry and conservation, lay the foundation for discussion by sharing success stories, best practices, lessons learned, and more. The 2021 Conservation Summit is Wednesday, November 3, 2021. This year’s event features a mix of in-person attendance as well as a free virtual attendance option!
Attendees will hear from the four 2021 Conservation Wranglers, businesses, and organizations that are making BIG, positive impacts for Texas’ communities, the economy, and our diverse and beautiful natural resources. This Summit’s overarching theme is The Future of Conservation. Check out our Summit Recap Blog Post to watch the 2020 presentations.

The Greentown Labs Climatetech Summit is a deep dive focused on empowering the technology of tomorrow. Climatetech entrepreneurs are developing the solutions that are the core of global decarbonization, yet they need support, cooperation, and collaboration from investors, policymakers, and the growing climatetech workforce in order to scale their critical technologies. The energy transition is here, and the climatetech ecosystem needs your involvement to keep the momentum going.
That’s where the Greentown Labs Climatetech Summit 2021 comes in. At this hybrid event, you will hear directly from Greentown’s entrepreneurs about the solutions they’re developing and what they need to bring them to market. You’ll also learn about key technology areas that are driving momentum to equitably tackle the climate crisis, and explore the plentiful opportunities for everyone to be a part of the energy transition that’s already unfolding.
On Nov. 4, they’re inviting you, your colleagues, and all the climate champions in your life into our Somerville, MA and Houston, TX incubators for a day of hands-on exploration with our 180+ startups and their climatetech solutions; keynotes and sessions featuring leaders across climatetech, finance, policy, and justice; and networking with key climate action pioneers.
The summit will culminate with a celebration of Greentown’s first decade of impact. they’ll highlight the momentum our startups, partners, and ecosystem collaborators have been building together and how it will set the stage for the next decade of climate action.

You are invited to join an online discussion series built around 15-minute videos featuring interviews with US faith leaders, representatives of climate-impacted communities from the global South, and presentations by UN officials and other experts. The videos walk viewers through four key climate policy issues that intersect with universal faith concerns for vulnerable and marginalized people. The series focuses on how climate change is impacting the core ministries of faith communities around the world, how those impacts will increase in the future, and why these impacts create an imperative for people of faith to advocate for strong US climate action.  A discussion guide is included that asks participants to think deeply about how their own local faith community’s direct service programs intersect with climate impacts, and how knowledge and experiences gained through these programs might help to inform climate policy. The study’s Action Center provides practical, step-by-step instructions for advocacy activities, as well as recommended policy asks for local, state, and national leaders.  Join us!
