The theme of the conference is Responding to Change: Dynamic Stormwater Management in Economic, Political, and Climatic transitions. The agenda includes a variety of general and breakout sessions, plenary speakers, and field trips.
The City of Houston Solid Waste Department and CompuCycle are providing monthly one day E-Recyclable collection events on the first Saturday of the month at the Kingwood Metro Park & Ride lot. Keep Kingwood Green encourages you to do the right thing and drop off your old electronics.

Chimney Rock Market is an outdoor market that features local artists and farmers. Beginning on Feb. 18, 2018, are open the first Sunday of each month.
Their vendors sell mouth-watering eats and artisan gifts the whole family can enjoy. As always, four-legged friends are welcome. There will be plenty of treats for them too!
When you’re done shopping, stop in Sean Anthony Salons to browse the beautiful art gallery brought to you by Creative Energy. Art Reception is from 2pm-4pm. Meet the Artisits! Refreshments will be served.

As U.S. border patrol attempts to seize the National Butterfly Center under eminent domain and Congress considers funding $5 billion more towards Trump’s wall, the Rio Grande Valley is at risk of being walled off and degrading one of the richest natural regions in the country.
This film follows the stories of Executive Director of the National Butterfly Center Marianna Trevino Wright, former migrant worker and long time human rights activist Zulema Hernandez, and la mariposa, as they combat against the destruction of the Monarch butterfly’s remaining habitat.
