No Admission Fee

While the Herb Society of America will offer a huge variety of herb plants, certain plants are limited. Guarantee your selection is available by purchasing in advance. In addition to herb plants and jellies, there will also be a room filled with herbal products such as sachets, catnip bags, herbal scrubs and lotions, and much more.

Blackwood Harvest Hoedown @ Blackwood Educational Land Institute

Blackwood LandBlackwood Land is delighted to announce the first-annual Blackwood Harvest Hoedown, an immersive farm experience celebrating land, food, and community. Hoedown guests will enjoy curated classes and demonstrations from vendors (for adults and youth alike) as well as strolling through the Harvest Market to shop a variety of local goods.  A farm-fresh lunch is included, followed by a keynote presentation and musical performances. Adults can enjoy crafted beer and specialty wines in the Bier Garten while the Kid Zone provides a supervised area with activities for young explorers to have fun and learn about nature.

Holiday in the Gardens and Winter Plant Sale @ Mercer Botanic Gardens

Celebrate the holiday season with music, food, crafts, shopping, and more during Holiday in the Gardens at Mercer Botanic Gardens. This family-oriented event offers a holiday market, winter plant sale, and a Children’s Corner. Attractions include face painting, a visit from Santa, and holiday-themed crafts. Entrance is free, and children’s activities are available while supplies last. Food, drinks, and holiday gifts are available for purchase.

19th Annual Fruit Tree Sale @ Sawyer Yards

Join Urban Harvest for the largest one-day sale in the country. Over 4,000 trees in 100 varieties will be available for their annual Fruit Tree Sale event. All trees have been specifically chose for the Houston soil and climate. This family-friendly event also features the Green Thumbs Education Pavilion presented by Kroger, live music and food trucks for a festival-like experience. All proceeds will benefit Urban Harvest. Volunteering opportunities are also available.
