Come out to Sheldon Lake State Park to walk along the boardwalk and see the amazing habitat in their coastal prairie and seasonal wetlands. Join them on a leisurely stroll through the prairie, while discussing about the plants and animals that live there.
Please bring water, bug spray, binoculars, and closed-toe shoes; and meet at the Pond Center, first building at the end of the entrance road. No fees or pre-registration is required.

Join Bethany Foshee, Edith Moore Sanctuary Manager, and Paul Fagala of Wild Birds Unlimited, for a free bird walk at Edith Moore Nature Sanctuary, September through May on the 4th Saturday of the month. Bird walks last 1 hour. Birders can arrive and leave as their schedules require. Novices are welcome!

Join Buffalo Bayou Partnership for a Wellness Walk led by Laura Conely, founder of Urban Paths Wellness Coaching. Anyone and everyone is invited to walk through the paths of Buffalo Bayou Park while discussing topics including mental and physical health as well as the benefits of being exposed to nature.
Come to enjoy the Coastal Prairie Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist’s fun and FREE Seabourne Nature Fest. This is a great day of fun experiences and includes horse-drawn wagons, face-painting, crafts for the kids, nature tours, butterflies, wildlife, native plant sale, food and much more!
