September 12 – Follow the Big Ideas: Smart Cities
The first person to hear the idea to create Houston Tomorrow around the mission of improving the quality of life for everyone in Houston was Ann Hamilton, then of Houston Endowment. In 1998, when Houston Tomorrow created the region’s quality of life movement, we began to look around the nation and the world to see what was working in cities to bring measurable improvement to people’s lives. Thousands of people changed Houston’s story; It’s time to celebrate them.
Party limited to 150 people; casual, wine/beer, snack provided. Tickets $50.

Sharfstein, Vice Dean, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, for a special discussion, followed by a networking reception.
