Description: This two hour workshop is designed for educators who already have a garden on their campus or learning facility and would like to discover new ways to incorporate 2010 TEKS correlated lesson plans into their classroom visits to the outdoor classroom. Lessons will include fractions and measurement, decomposers and food chains, and plant and animal life cycles. In addition to covering learning objectives, these lessons introduce teachers and students to basic gardening activities and maintenance.
