Description: Join us as we explore Bayou Parkland located on Braes Bayou and find the abundance of what nature offers us growing wild in our city. Learn to identify and prepare the greens, roots, shoots and fruits that are all around us. You will learn to identify edibles as well as poisonous plants that are similar in appearance. Harvesting and preparation of wild edibles identified will be included. Plant identification books, tools and websites will also be discussed.
