BOWLING FOR RHINOS

The 16th annual Bowling for Rhinos benefit will be Saturday, July 22, from 6 – 9 pm at Diamond Lanes, 6327 Spencer Highway in Pasadena. The local chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers sponsors the event, part of a nationwide effort to raise money for rhino conservation. All proceeds go directly to projects conserving the four species of rhino, their habitats, and hundreds of other endangered plants and animals. The cost is $25 per bowler and the evening includes unlimited bowling, shoe rental, soft drinks, a pizza buffet, and a silent auction. Non-bowlers may attend for $10. The bowling alley’s snack bar, drink bar, pool table, and video games will be open to the partygoers. If you cannot attend the event, but want the cool tee shirt, you can order one online.
