Description: Many Katy area residents are surprised to learn there is a “Katy Prairie” and wonder why they haven’t seen signs of it after years of living in Katy. Keep Katy Beautiful wants to change that when they host the Katy Prairie Conservancy at the Katy Heritage Museum on Wednesday evening, September 8, 2010. Residents may be surprised to learn the answer to this question and more during the presentation from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served starting at 6:00 p.m. and the Museum will be open for exploration.
