Description: Beat the Baron Waste is a classroom education program that teaches Elementary Science students about proper household hazardous chemical and waste management. This presentation includes lessons on potential dangers of various products to our health and environment, how to identify hazardous wastes, and less toxic alternatives that can be used. Free materials will be provided to each participant! The lessons included in this session align with 2010 Science TEKS and can be incorporated throughout the year.
