Description: Are you interested in having fun on your summer break? At Big Thicket National Preserve you can explore the great outdoors, hike, look for animals and their tracks, and admire the diversity of nature. Park Rangers will host a free Junior Ranger Camp for 6-12 year olds interested in learning how to enjoy and care for nature. Activities will include drawing, Native American arts, learning about animals from their skins and skulls and more. The camp will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday July 12/13/14th, from 9:00 am -12:00 noon. You must attend all 3 days to earn your Junior Ranger badge.
