Location: Flower Garden (NOAA), Galveston, TX
Event Link: Click here
Description: Galveston Bay Foundation and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality would like to invite you to a public meeting to learn about the progress being made with the Oyster Waters Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Implementation Plan. This is a bottom-up stakeholder- and citizen-driven process to make oyster harvesting in Galveston Bay safe by reducing bacteria concentrations in the bay waters. We want stakeholders to be part of the process of developing the management measures, building the monitoring plan, and designing the Implementation Plan. Please join us at one of these public meetings to give us your input and help make a difference in Galveston Bay:
