Description: Anyone curious about the kinds of fish that can be found in Spring Creek can witness the electroshock method of fish sampling during a demonstration by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. This technique is a great way for ecologists to determine the types of fish found in bodies of water and to take their measurements. Please note that fish only receive a mild stun and are not harmed during the process, after which they are returned to the water.
