Description: This year, the Rice Environmental Club’s annual conference will focus on food and its impact on health and the environment. Lately, food has been a very hot topic, heightened by numerous publications such as Fast Food Nation, In Defense of Food and shocking documentaries including Supersize Me and Food, Inc. Whether or not you identify with environmentalists, food is a topic that concerns everyone at least three times a day.

We are working hard to organize a conference that will be of interest not only to environmentalists but rather will be enlightening and engaging for everyone. There will be a farmer’s market and booths from great organizations after the conference. And yes, there will be plenty of FREE FOOD, so get excited!
