Beautification Volunteer Activities in Houston, TX
on Saturday, March 6th, 2010 from 8 A.M. – 4 P.M.

Kickoff Rally – Friday March 5th at 1:30 P.M.

Planned Volunteer Projects include:
* Removing invasive plant species at Memorial Park
* Tree planting, butterfly garden and native plants garden at Weiss Park
* Community garden at Provision School
* Edible community garden in Westbury neighborhood
* Esplanade beautification in Denver Harbor
* Cleanup streets and ditches in Acres Homes
* Snacks, Lunch and Refreshments will be provided.
