Description: Foxhall, 2009 president of the Harris County Medical Society, is vice president for health policy and associate professor of clinical cancer prevention at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston. His work focuses on community-based cancer prevention and early detection and on access and quality of care for low-income populations. With special attention to Texas, Foxhall looks at the economic, demographic, and policy implications such issues hold for retaining the current system or pursuing reforms.
