Description: The Wind Alliance is very excited to announce our Spring 2010 all-member meeting to be held in Corpus Christi, Texas.

You don’t want to miss this!

Committee Meetings (24th): Committees will meet in the afternoon from 2pm – 5pm (one hour each for the technology, infrastructure and workforce committees). We encourage our members to attend any or, if possible, all of the committee meetings. Get connected and start problem solving!

Speaker Dinner (24th): A speaker dinner featuring Texas Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson will begin at 6pm. After dinner, we will meet for cocktails at the beautiful Republic of Texas Bar & Grill (top of the Omni Bayfront Hotel).

Member Meeting (25th): The meeting will be held at Naval Station Ingleside (NSI). All attendees will be transported round-trip from the Omni Bayfront Hotel to Naval Station Ingleside, and back. Our event will showcase the upcoming collaborative redevelopment of the 576 acre Naval Station into the new Coastal Renewable Energy Institute, led by Texas A&M University System. During this event, members will also become acquainted with the site donated by British Petroleum to the University of Houston for the University’s future Large Blade Test Facility. Meeting Speakers: Lisa Dodds of NaREC (New and Renewable Energy Center, UK) will be our lunch keynote speaker. Additionally, the all-member meeting will feature regional wind industry experts. Biographies of our speakers will be distributed electronically and posted on our website.

Registration: Attendance is free and open to members only. Up to four (4) attendees per membership. Please complete and submit a Registration Form and a Naval Base Access Form for each attendee. Both forms must be received by February 12, 2010 (due to base security, no exceptions).
