Texas Bioneers

The event will be free and open to the public and has been set for Saturday, November 14th at Discovery Green Park Downtown. There will be a slow food picnic dinner spearheaded by Monica Pope and Andrea Lazar of t’afia. The picnic dinner will feature food prepared by local chefs from Slow Food’s Ark of Taste list. The US Ark of Taste is a catalog of over 200 delicious foods in danger of becoming extinct. This year’s national Bioneers speakers will be shown via DVD. http://www.blackwoodland.org/bioneers/index.htm
