One Month ‘Til Brownfields Conference
The 2009 National Brownfields Conference is headed to New Orleans on November 16-18. One of the hot topics in this year’s educational program is the financing and risk management of brownfields redevelopment projects. The National Brownfields Conference is the largest, most comprehensive conference focused on cleaning up and redeveloping abandoned, underutilized, and potentially contaminated properties in the nation. The conference is cosponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and ICMA, and attracts more than six thousand registrants and hundreds of exhibitors. ICMA is the lead nonfederal cosponsor.  Whether you are a newcomer to the world of economic and environmental redevelopment, or a seasoned professional looking to make new connections and increase your business, Brownfields 2009 offers something for you. http://www.brownfieldsconference.org
