Join Children at Risk in celebrating 20 years!

October 20, 11:30 am. As it was inscribed twenty years ago, “To serve as the voice for children in the greater Houston area,” the original mission of CHILDREN AT RISK still rings true today.  Founded in 1989 by a small, but committed group of child advocates who sought out to alarm our city into action through a publication titled Children at Risk, we have spent two decades speaking out for the needs of Houston’s youth on issues ranging from public education to the environment to human trafficking.
