Want to enjoy the first hint of fall? Summer is finally starting to give us a break with the first whiff of cool weather. Take advantage of the crisp evening breeze this Sunday, October 4, at KPC’s Open Trails from 2 to 6 PM at the Nelson Farms Preserve. You can take a relaxing stroll among the colorful autumnal wildflowers and check out a revival of the prairie’s amphibious folk after this week’s rainy afternoons. Don’t forget to bring a jacket!
