Take A Child Outside Week with Houston Arboretum

September 24-30. The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center, in partnership with REI, invites you to take part in connecting children to the natural world as part of a growing nationwide effort geared to getting young people off the couch, unplugged from technology, and enjoying the outdoors in their local community. Each weekday (September 24, 25, 28, 29 & 30) from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. parents and caregivers are invited to bring children to the Arboretum for a simple, fun outdoor activity to do together. On Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, families can stop by the Arboretum from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a family outdoor adventure. http://www.houstonarboretum.org/takeachildoutside.asp
