PETER NEWMAN ON ‘RESILIENT CITIES’

Peter Newman, the leading researcher on reducing automobile dependency, will talk about his new book, “Resilient Cities: Responding to Peak Oil and Climate Change” and how sustainable urbanism could replace today’s carbon-consuming policies on Thursday, January 22, at 7 pm at the United Way, 50 Waugh Dr. There will be a reception for the author at 6:30.
