Nominations are still open for the 2009 Texas Environmental Excellence Awards. These annual awards recognize projects across Texas that significantly reduce waste, conserve natural resources, and prevent pollution. An individual, community, company, or organization may be nominated for an award. Nominations may be made online. The deadline for applications is October 31.
