CHAPTER GROWTH CONSULTANT

The US Green Building Council is seeking a chapter growth consultant. This project will entail helping approximately five chapters to operate effectively and in compliance with USGBC policies and federal/state laws pertaining to their 501(c)(3) status, building each chapter’s capacity to hire a chapter-funded staff person by the end of the contract period, and strategic and annual planning. In addition, the consultant will assist the area Regional Council made up of representatives from each chapter within the region with projects ranging from coordinating meetings and calls, developing meeting/call agendas and notes, enhancing communications and collaborations among the chapters within the region, and working on region-specific projects. Qualifications – Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience as an association administrator, non-profit leader or similar consulting and demonstrated knowledge of non-profit management, residence in Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas.
