TRAINING IN FRIENDSWOOD FOR COOL CITIES CAMPAIGN

The Sierra Club is getting more cities on board the Cool Cities train! As part of our expansion of the Cool Cities campaign in the metro Houston area, we are forming teams in Friendswood, Pearland, Alvin, and Manvel. There will be a training on Thursday, June 26 at 7 pm at Friendswood Activity Building, 416 Morningside, Friendswood. For more information, contact Ann Drumm at anndrumm@swbell.net or (214) 350-6108. Each team’s charge is to ask its mayor to address global warming by embracing energy efficiency at the local level. You do not have to be a member of the Sierra Club to participate. Although this training is focused on SE Houston-area cities, anyone interested in forming a team for their own city may attend.
