Public Citizen’s Texas Office, located in Austin, is looking for an assistant to work closely with the director on an organizing and public outreach program to reduce emissions from coal plants in Texas and other selected states. A college degree is required for this position and we prefer at least half a year of organizing experience at the state level, past experience working with community groups, familiarity with esstate legislative process, and understanding of media outreach techniques.
