HOUSTON AUDUBON SEEKS SANCTUARY STEWARD

This employee will be responsible for sanctuary project management, native habitat development, exotic invasives control, structures maintenance, and public/volunteer interaction at Houston Audubon’s 17 sanctuaries in 5 counties on the Upper Texas Coast. Requirements: Excellent physical condition; experience with chainsaws and other power tools; a BS in Ornithology, Wildlife Sciences, Biology, Botany, Ecology, or related field; interest in promoting the conservation and appreciation of birds and wildlife habitat; a valid Texas Driver License and personal transportation.For a complete job description go to the organization’s website.
