ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST JOB WITH TRAVIS COUNTY

This staffer coordinates natural resources protection and enhancement projects on land owned or managed by Travis County. Responsible for administration and assistance with the Balcones Canyonlands Conservation Plan and Balcones Canyonlands Preserve, and other ecological management projects and programs. Educates and assists the public to comply with endangered species regulations related to the BCCP and BCP. Education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Technical Writing, or a directly related field AND two years experience with government grants.
