OH GIVE ME A HOME
Most of us don’t have room in our back yards for buffalo to roam, or even for deer and antelopes to play, but home gardeners can still provide habitat for a variety of wildlife. The Native Plant Society of Texas is hosting a class on Landscaping with native plants to attract wildlife on Saturday, September 8 from 9am to 3 pm. The event will be at U of H Main Campus in the College of Engineering. There will also be a native plant sale. For information, see , call (281) 456-7029 or (281) 558-3710 , or e-mail sarahbethsmith1@aol.com.For the more committed habitat gardener, Urban Harvest is holding a 4-part series about building “habitat highwaysâ€.
