DISCUSS HARRIS COUNTY’S ROAD PLANS

The Livable Houston Network will meet on Monday, August 20, to look at the massive road-building program that Harris County intends to fund, including the Grand Parkway. The purpose of the Parkway is to provide access to hundreds of square miles of agricultural and other rural land for new development. This obviously conflicts with the citizen goals in the 2035 Regional Transportation Plan. The meeting will be from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at 3015 Richmond in the second floor conference room.
