ARMAND BAYOU NATURE CENTER SEEKS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Armand Bayou Nature Center is a private nonprofit organization supported by the public that preserves and manages 2,500 acres of wetlands, prairie, forest, and marsh habitat. The Board seeks an executive director with strong leadership experience and the ability to inspire staff, volunteers and board members. The individual will be familiar with nonprofit management, reporting, finance and operations. The ideal candidate will be an experienced fundraiser who can not only plan and execute annual and capital campaigns, but someone who is comfortable with and eager to participate in major gifts solicitation. The board would also consider candidates with nontraditional backgrounds such as business or civic leaders who are committed to the enhancement of the quality of life of the area.
