CEC Welcomes Autumn Johnson as Video Production Intern

Autumn Johnson is a student at the University of Houston pursuing a degree and career in Media Production. Originally from San Antonio, she is passionate about creating content in her newfound community in Houston. She aims to create impactful pieces with moving narratives and purpose. Her most recent projects include a series of promotional content for Yato Clothing International and creating a digital fundraiser for the Alliance of Coalitions for Healthy Communities. Her dedication and hard work have garnered over 5,000 views on social media and recognition from her school.

On-campus, Autumn spends her time involved in the on-campus experience as a Residential Advisor. She also spends her time editing and producing videos for the student-run broadcast- CoogTV. She has made the Dean’s List both semesters of her freshman year and was awarded a scholarship with the Valenti School of Communication.

When she’s not in class or studying, she is out in Houston exploring. She loves to visit the different food spots the city has to offer but more importantly, she loves to visit the local trails and parks in the area. Autumn hopes to bring light to these beautiful and the organizations behind them.
