Houston City Council Agenda – January 23, 2018

This city considered the following agenda items at the January 23, 2018, Houston Council Meeting. The agenda items include final payments for contract work that upgraded waterlines in the city of Houston.6 – Final payment of over $4.7 million to D.L. Elliott Enterprises, Inc. was approved. The project replaced and upgraded over 40,000 ft of waterlines in the city. This increased water availability and improved protection. The areas were Loop 610 on the north, E. 11th on the south, N. Main and Studewood on the east and Yale Street and Cortland on the west and Loop 610 on the north, Cavalcade on the south, Fulton on the east and Airline on the west. It was completed in 380 calendar days and nearly 1% over the original contract amount.

7 - Final payment of nearly $2.4 million to Scohil Construction Services, LLC. was approved. The project replaced and upgraded over 30,000 ft of waterlines in the city. The project was located on Turner Drive on the north, Meadow Lea Drive and Berry Road on the south, Exeter Road on the east and Meta Street on the west. It was nearly 4% under the original contract amount and completed on time with 3 days remaining.
