After 11 successful years, Gulf Coast Green Symposium and Expo has proven to be the leading green building conference in the Gulf Coast region.  In addition to the lineup of speakers, a Green Product Expo 2017 featuring hand-selected green building products will be open to attendees concurrently with the symposium. Registration for the event opens in February 2017.

The Science of Sustainability

Geared toward attendees with an intermediate to high level of knowledge about buildings and sustainability issues, we will offer presentations related to:

• Building Performance — including building systems, cutting-edge technologies, lifecycle assessments, post-occupancy evaluations, historical renovation, energy and resource use;
• Human Health — including materials, indoor air quality, active design, comfort, biophilia;
• Ecological Health — including site performance, habitat creation, sustainable food production, climate change, resilience;
• Citizen Science – advocacy, innovative partnerships, integrated process, applying big data, moving from theory to design.
