CEC TO COHOST FUTURE OF OUR CHILDREN CONFERENCE

Children at Risk, in collaboration with Childbuilders, St. Luke’s Episcopal Charities, Catholic Charities, Project GRAD, University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work, and the Citizen’s Environmental Coalition, is hosting The Future of Our Children Annual Conference on Thursday, June 7th from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at United Way Community Resource Center, 50 Waugh Dr.Futurist Dr. Peter Bishop, from the University of Houston, will facilitate the conference and encourage participants to think about change, trends, and the impact of these possibilities on the future of Houston’s children. The goal of the event is to create and motivate a positive future for our children through collaboration and communication among children’s organizations, direct service providers, child advocates, and community members.
