SUCCESSFUL GRANT PROPOSALS TALK BIG HIT

The talk “Keys to Successful Grant Proposals”, the first of CEC’s new Leadership Seminar Series, was held yesterday. Thanks to George Grainger from Houston Endowment and Amanda Cloud from Simmons Foundation for sharing their experience and knowledge. The next seminar will be Wednesday, March 14. The topic is “Making the Best of Your Board,” with Ronnie Hagerty from the United Way. The event will be from 11:30 am to 1 pm at the Houston Environmental Center, 3015 Richmond, in the Upper Kirby Room. The seminar is open to all interested individuals, but you must RSVP to (713) 524-4232. A $15 fee includes lunch.
