VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION FOR ABNC FEB 24

Prospective volunteers are invited to spend Saturday morning on Feb 24 at Armand Bayou Nature Center to view a presentation of the center’s history and mission, hear an overview of the volunteer opportunities, and get a chance to meet some experienced volunteers and talk to them about why they love to help Armand Bayou Nature Center. Volunteers teach children, lead nature hikes, help manage the marsh and prairie, answer the phone, represent ABNC at public events such as libraries and fairs, and demonstrate historical skills such as butter making and rope making.
