As always, this event is free and open to the public. Complimentary refreshments will be provided, as well.

When Houstonians head to the polls in November, they will be faced with the a question about how the region’s transit should be funded: the 2012 General Mobility Program Referendum.

Do you have questions about the details and facets to the Metro ballot proposal?

Since transit shapes the way sustainable buildings and successful communities are built and function, the USGBC Emerging Professionals – Houston would like to give our members and the public an opportunity to hear more from experts to help them make an informed decision.

We will not be endorsing either side of this referendum; we just want you to feel like you have some great resources to come to your own best-informed opinion.

This event is part two of a two-part series. We will also be hearing from the Houston Metro the week prior on October 17 to gain another perspective. See the Metro’s event announcement here: https://www.facebook.com/events/372327132843586/?fref=ts
