GREEN BUILDING RESEARCHER NEEDED AT HARC

Houston Advanced Research Center has an opening for a research scientist in green building. Requirements include a bachelors degree, accreditation by the US Green Building Council (LEED®); minimum of 5 years as an architect or engineer in residential, institutional and commercial architecture. Experience in strategic planning, programming, design, project management and commissioning in private and public environments is desirable.

Duties include coordinating and performing research and/or sustainable development strategies; writing white papers and proposals for submission to funding sources; identification of funding sources; making public presentations on green building and other sustainability topics; planning and executes products and methods research for client implementation; and executing LEED® documentation for client projects.
