Spray Polyurethane Foam Insulation and Coated Foam Roofing Systems for Commercial Buildings
This workshop will explain the proper use of spray polyurethane foam (SPF) in new commercial construction and retrofit projects, including the application to roofing systems. We will identify the various properties of each type of spray foam, how they meet code compliance, and the benefits attributed to these products.
The presenter will explain the development, detailing, environmental performance, and contribution to reducing building energy consumption. The workshop is targeted to Architects, Builders, Developers, ESCOs and Insulation Contractors.

Afternoon Program (1:00pm – 4:00pm)

Energy Efficiency Changes and Opportunities in Above Code Programs
This workshop will provide an update on the newly adopted ENERGY STAR Version 3 and what has changed from previous versions. There will also be an emphasis on what technologies are needed to meet ENERGY STAR Version 3.
This update will be followed by an overview of available local green building and above-code programs. This presenter will address how they compare in energy efficiency with the current codes and ENERGY STAR. The workshop is targeted for Residential Builders, Contractors and Developers.
