Description: “Life’s Better Outside” at the 2012 Toyota Texas Bass Classic (TTBC) at the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center’s festival grounds in Conroe, September 28 – 30. This year, the organizers will offer outdoor activities for everyone—anglers, hunters, campers, barbecue lovers and concert-goers.

The TTBC features the world championship of bass fishing and some of the best country music bands. The top 50 anglers in the world will compete for a $420,000 in cash and prizes, and evening weigh-ins will be wrapped around concerts by Dierks Bentley, Gary Allan, Jake Owen and Southern Slang. The first 30 qualifiers have been announced. Highlights from the field include defending Bassmaster Classic champion Chris Lane and Toyota angler Terry Scroggins

At the Outdoor Adventure Area hosted by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), kids can try a hand at archery, rock climbing, and fishing, and then learn all about wildlife, state parks and more. There will also be plenty of merchandise available for purchase from vendors. You can even test drive a Toyota in their off-road course at the event!
