BioBlitz is an exciting, one-day effort to find and identify as many living species as possible. The Katy Prairie BioBlitz is a great opportunity for professional scientists to work alongside amateur naturalists to catalogue the dazzling diversity of frogs, mushrooms, birds, mammals, fish, lizards, wildflowers, and other organisms that are at home on the Flat Out Wonderful Katy Prairie.

This year we will be using Project Noah to coordinate our photographic effort to identify life on the prairie. Participants will join the Katy Prairie BioBlitz mission and will use smartphones to documents and upload what they see. Participants can also use cameras to document what they see and then upload to Project Noah as well
