Description: For years, parents have been asking us for a program designed for the needs of younger children. This year, everything has aligned perfectly so that we are finally able to offer TWO overnight camps for our younger campers. The first, Camp Little Green Feet is for 3,4 and 5 year olds plus an adult, and the second, Camp Little Feet is for 5,6 and 7 year olds (without an adult). Both are overnight camps that will engage kids through exploring the natural web of life to develop a healthy, respectful relationship with nature.

All participants will learn to develop awareness and appreciation for their natural surroundings, as well as better understand the environment and the earth in a simple and fun way. Join us to explore the land, interact with animals and insects, dig for worms, plant seeds, play games, and sing songs. We will drum, cook, tell stories, make art, hike through the woods, get wet, and study the stars.

Both of these new programs are designed to meet the needs of our younger campers, and the desires of their parents. They will serve as a gradual stepping stone to our younger nature lovers, preparing them for a longer “sleep away camp”. You will not find another summer camp out there that offers the fun and education to such young ages as Camp Little Green Feet and Camp Little Feet at Blackwood Nature Camp.
