Title: KPC Summer Science Night: The Social Network
Location: Indiangrass Preserve

Description: Humans are the only ones networking these days. Ants, termites, wasps, coyotes, and many other creatures live in social networks that they use for defense, taking care of young, and even hunting.
Come discover how to work in a group, just like wild creatures, to get the job done, build an ant catcher, and event hunt like a coyote pack!
Help your kids beat the heat this summer with one of KPC’s exciting Summer Science Nights! Let them spend the evening learning about the venomous creatures of the Katy Prairie, investigating the social network of prairie wildlife, or biking around the prairie on a safari-style expedition. Classes run from 6pm – 8pm and give your child the chance to get into the great outdoors without risking the mid-day heat of a Texas summer. You can sign up for one, two, or all three of our fantastic programs, and with two chances to take each class, one is sure to fit into your summer schedule. Crafts, games, science demos, and hikes will make for an unforgettable experience that your children are sure to be talking about for the rest of the summer!
KPC’s Summer Science Nights are designed to get children ages 5-10 out of the house and onto the prairie with an offering of three fun, unique, and adventure-filled experiences.
