REMOVE INVASIVE SPECIES JAN 20

Bring your machetes, work gloves, and insect repellent to Timbergrove Manor Park on Saturday, Jan 20. and join an invasive species removal project. At 8 am, renowned botanist Eric Ruckstuhl, an authority on riparian species, will lecture about identification of problem species and why removal is essential. He will also discuss non-invasive removal techniques. Removal work will begin at 9 am and finish at 11:30 am. Dress for work in the woods. The park is at 1000 West TC Jester Blvd at Bryce St. For information, call Bayou Preservation Association at (713) 529-6443. The rain date will be Feb 3.
