STATE OF THE BAY SYMPOSIUM

The Galveston Bay Estuary Program will host the 8th biennial symposium about Galveston Bay, Jan 23 – 25, in Galveston. This year’s theme is Charting the Course to 2015: People, the Bay, and the Future. Presentations will cover the overall environmental health of the bay, habitat conservation and restoration, invasive species; freshwater inflows, water quality, watershed management; public health, economics, coastal hazards, ecosystem modeling; planning, environmental education, and outreach.
